Interns at the Miller Garden, 2015

Internships

Become an Intern for one of the Pacific Northwest’s Premier Gardens

The Elisabeth C. Miller Botanical Garden hosts two one-year, part-time internships, (approximately 24 hours per week). Typically, positions start at the beginning of July, and there is some flexibility to accommodate an applicant’s weekly schedule, especially if they are still attending school. The primary focus is on garden maintenance, but there are propagation opportunities to work in the Garden’s small nursery & greenhouse. Interns work with a very experienced garden staff and learn about specialized care of rare and unusual plants and detailed gardening techniques.
