GROUNDCOVERS

A group of plants that Mrs. Miller was very interested in was groundcovers. Hoping to minimize maintenance and to add interest to the garden, she trialed many different plants for their weed suppression capabilities. Her experiments with these plants led to mixtures of several different species, creating a tapestry of textures and accentuating her goal for year-round interest. We continue to follow her example by seeking plants with groundcover potential and by using them in new combinations in the garden.
