The Miller Collections

GALLERY

ALPINE PLANTS

Much of Mrs. Miller's original collection of alpines has been lost or relocated due to the temperamental nature of these plants and the ever-expanding shade of the maturing trees. Over the last several years, efforts have been made to redevelop this collection by re-introducing plants once grown by Mrs. Miller in combination with a wealth of new and challenging introductions. A stone staircase was recently created, bordered on both sides with new alpine beds, to serve as the backbone for this collection.
