Mrs. Miller loved plants and was an avid collector of them. Her constant experimentation with growing conditions and her lust for the choice and unusual serves as the inspiration for the continued development of the collection. New acquisitions arrive every year, focused on new introductions, rare plants and outstanding forms. Because our limited visitation prevents most people from seeing these treasures, we hope these galleries will reflect some of the beauty and wonderful diversity contained in this garden.
